Confrontations ignited this morning in the governorate of Kasserine between inhabitants of “Douleb” area and law enforcement protecting the oil field in the region.
The security forces employed tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, according to declarations by the spokesperson for the Douleb sit-in, Mohamed Raouf Khadhraoui.
According to the same source, some inhabitants assembled in front of the headquarters of the governorate, to ask for the release of their sons detained during the events which took place yesterday, but they were targeted by the police who used tear gas to disperse them.
