The governorate of Kasserine documented 96 new cases of coronavirus after 166 samples were examined in the mobile military bacteriological laboratory ,Farhat Hached hospital in Sousse, and 182 rapid tests carried out by the military health team.
Thus the infection tally rose to 596 since the start of the pandemic, said a source from the regional health directorate.
The same source added that two new deaths were reported on Thursday in the Covid-19 department of the regional hospital, bringing the number of deaths in the region to 27 since the start of the pandemic.
