Seven people were injured in Clashes that exploded between youths from Tinbar village in northern Kebili and others from the nearby village of El Menchia at Souk Lahad delegation, the TAP reported. The conflict is attributed to inter-village borders.
A doctor from the emergency ward notified the TAP agency that Six injured had been admitted to the Kebili regional hospital, three had been beaten by buckshot and three by stone-throwing. Only had been retained in hospital, the others returned home after receiving treatment.
Security forces moved to take the situation under control and shield people and property.
Moreover,The region’s governor and delegates of norther kebili and Souk Lahad travelled to the scene to convince the locals of both villages to calm down and help them settle their differences through dialogue.
