Tunisia-Khalil Baroumi: Ennahdha position from Hichem Mechichi is positive, urges him to expand political belt

Mohamed Khalil Baroumi, a member of Ennahda’s executive bureau said that the party position from the designation of Hichem Mechichi to form the government is positive, urging him to work on securing a large political belt for the cabinet.

Speaking to the TAP, he said that Ennahdha will determine its position on the government based on the perceptions of Mishishi, especially in relation to the economic and social dimensions.

He noted that the movement calls on the Prime Minister-designate to extend consultations to include parties and national organizations in order to form a comprehensive approach and benefit from all theses, emphasising that expanding the consultations and their seriousness enhances confidence in the government and ensures it has the freedom to work in a relationship with Parliament.
