Speaking at a press conference held this Monday, January 3, 2022, in Tunis, attorney Abderrazak Kilani, considered that party leader Ennahdha Nourrdine Bhiri was “kidnapped” and that it is an illegal practice and unacceptable with regard to a lawyer and a deputy who represents the people, in a democratic nation.
“The kidnapping of a deputy and a lawyer is a dangerous and unprecedented step forward. We call on civil organizations and Tunisians to respond in order to preserve individual freedoms,” he said.
