Tunisia-King Abdullah to dispatch a plane carrying anti-malaria medicine to Tunisia

President Kais Saied held a phone conversation with KingAbdullah to discuss cooperation and coordinating efforts to counter and contain coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The talk addressed the distinct brotherly relationships between the Tunisian and Jordanian peoples, the two counterparts also examined, in particular, the need to mobilize all efforts in the face of the global Coronavrius pandemic.

The Head of State also expressed Tunisia’s readiness, in turn, to collaborate in this field with its Jordan with the capabilities it has, emphasising that this situation, as well as national and bilateral approaches, must be approached on a global level, which is the subject of the draft resolution prepared by Tunisia for the UN Security Council.

In the phone call, King Abdullah also wished the people of Tunisia good health and wellbeing and invited President Siaed to visit Jordan. President Kaïs Saïed also invited his counterpart for an official visit to Tunisia.

The king also will be dispatching a plane carrying anti-Malaria medicine to Tunisia.
