A ceremony to distribute school supplies for the 2023 school year was organized today for children at the SOS Gammarth Children’s Village, thanks to a successful partnership between the Association of Former KOICA Trainees “KAAT” and financial support from the KOICA Office in Tunisia.
The ceremony brought together the village director, educational and support team, members of the Board of Directors of the KAAT Association, the Country Director of the KOICA office in Tunisia, as well as representatives of the KOICA office.
According to KOICA, the goal is to relieve families of the often heavy financial burdens linked to the beginning of the school year, while providing significant support to guarantee that the coming school year at the SOS Gammarth Children’s Village is crowned with success..
The school kits distributed consisted of a variety of essential supplies, such as backpacks, aprons, binders, notebooks, and pen sets, as well as diverse other essential items. These supplies were carefully chosen to meet the requirements of the educational program and will be used on a daily basis by the students.
