Tunisia-Korba: Simultaneous robbery attempts of several mosques in the same city

Five mosques were the subject of burglary attempts by unknown persons in the town of Korba (Nabeul governorate) Korba delegate Mounir Ghribi announced.

The same source revealed that at dawn on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, the muezzins of these mosques had trouble unlocking the doors to access and perform the Fajr prayers due to the sabotage of the doors of the mosques.

Mr Ghribi moreover indicated that the said mosques have been opened and dawn prayers have been held on time, and that inquiry is underway to unveil the circumstances of what occurred.

Ghribi remarked the presence of adhesive material in the door locks or broken keys inside, and that the incident targeted the mosques of Sidi Abderrahmen, El Raoudha, Boulaaba, El Kebli and El Fatah.
