On the 45th anniversary of Land Day, Tunisia once again called on the international community to shoulder their part in defending the rights of the Palestinian people against the oppressive policies of the Israeli entity.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tunisia emphasises the necessity to stop the Israeli settlement plan, condemning the policy of the “fait accompli” led by Israel and its breach of international resolutions.
Tunisia reaffirms its constant position for the Palestinian cause and its unwavering support for the Palestinians in their struggle to end long decades of injustice and retrieve their legitimate right to freedom and a decent life.
The commemoration of the 45th anniversary of Land Day is a chance to immortalise the struggle of the valiant Palestinian people, their resistance and their bravery in defending their inalienable rights, the statement said.
