The general secretary of the basic secondary education union, Lasaad Yaakoubi announced today that the decision to resume classes in Sfax is a political decision par excellence and that the union will not delay postponing classes if the health situation worsens further.
Speaking to a private radio he said the government is commanded by some parties who decline to take the preventive decisions that are essential, such as a lockdown.
Regarding the statement of the Minister of Education concerning the role that private lessons play in the increase of infections in schools, Yaakoubi said that these lessons are allowed by law and that only offenders can be punished.
