The diplomatic corps union (SCD) has welcomed the latest decision declared by President Kais Saied on the removal of a diplomatic passport from a former state official.
Remarking that the Head of State has withdrawn Moncef Marzouki’s diplomatic passport, the SCD thanked Kais Saied, calling his decision sovereign and national. The SCD said that Marzouki’s remarks impaired Tunisia’s national security inside and outside the country.
According to the same source, the union said diplomats will proceed to defend Tunisia’s interests and strengthen its image overseas.
