Tunisia-Launch of the 1st Tunisian satellite on March 20, 2021

Launch of the first% Tunisian satellite “Challenge One” has been postponed until next year, Telnet Group Managing Director Mohamed Frikha said on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in a post published on its official page.

Functional and launch tests have been carried out successfully, he added, explaining that the postponement is mainly due to the spread of the coronavirus all over the world.

It was the Russian company in charge of the launch which had informed him since last September that the launch of several satellites including “Challenge One”, scheduled for November 15, 2020, had been postponed to March 20, 2021, due to the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, said Frikha.
