Tunisia-Legislative 2022: electoral campaign begins on Friday

The election campaign for the legislative elections of December 17, 2022, begins this Friday, November 25, and will continue until December 15.

A few days before the election, many political parties and components of civil society still called to cancel or delay this electoral deadline under the pretext of the “irregularities that have tainted it since the start of the process”.
According to specialists in electoral affairs, the next legislative elections will be “different” at the levels of the results and the participation of voters.
Indeed, they believe that the new voting mode adopted, the lack of clarity among voters, and the laxity displayed by the election body (ISIE) in the face of the overruns documented throughout the electoral process can only produce a Legislative completely different from previous electoral meetings.
