Tunisia-Legislative: administrative court cancels a decision by the ISIE

The Appeal Chamber with the Administrative Court decided on Thursday to revoke the decision of the  Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE). A decision that dismissed a candidate from the district of South  Bizerte in the second round of the legislative elections.

Note that the candidate won a number of votes that permit him to go to the second round since he arrived second. But the ISIE decided to recount the votes and it was dismissed following this operation.

The candidate, accordingly, decided to seize the administrative court which cancelled the decision and the passage in the second round was approved.
