The president of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) Farouk Bouasker revealed today the beginning of the submission of applications for the legislative elections.
He recollected that the electoral campaign will start on November 25, recalling that Tunisians will elect their MPs on December 17, while Tunisians living abroad will be able to partake in this process on December 15, 16 and 17.
According to the electoral calendar, the preliminary results will be issued from December 18 to 20. The announcement of official results will not surpass January 18, 2023.
”1705 citizens have submitted their applications, between 2 and 32 candidates in each electoral district, and more than 326 thousand sponsorships were gathered until October 14. The number is scheduled to grow by the end of the month, “said Farouk Bouasker.
