Tunisia-Legislative: two candidates and two voters sentenced to prison

Two out of three legislative candidates concerned by violations and electoral fraud were condemned to 3 and 5 years in prison. Other convictions to 1 and 2 years in prison, against voters, having acknowledged having been bribed by candidates, says ISIE member Tlili told MosaiqueFM.

Mansri indicated that if electoral fraud is confirmed against the candidate of the district of Sousse, Makram Laguem, placed in police custody, he will be charged and deprived of submitting his candidacy for life. Voters having obtained money from candidates will be deprived of their right to vote for ten years.
