In reply to the numerous criticisms directed to Kais Saied since the implementation of the measures of July 25, Echaâb MP Leila Haddad stated that the President of the Republic will not be a dictator.
She, nevertheless, called for clear deadlines for the end of the state of emergency. Haddad called for the start of reforms emphasising the significance of fighting corruption and the waste of public money.
”It is time to move from representative democracy to true democracy. The greatest problem facing the country in the fight against corruption is that of impunity, ”she explained.
