Tunisia-Lifting Asset Freeze of Ben Ali’s relatives

The Council of the European Union has decided to lift the freeze on the assets of seven members of the family of former President of the Republic, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, and some of his relatives.

The execution decision was issued on October 27, 2022, and it includes a list of persons involved in the lifting of the assets in force since February 4, 2011.

The names were published by the Official Journal of the European Union, this Friday, October 28, 2022.

These are Mohamed Ben Moncef Ben Mohamed Trabelsi, Kais Ben Ali, Hamda Ben Ali, Najmeddine Ben Ali, Najet Ben Ali, Imed and Naoufel Letaïef.
