Tunisia-Lotfi Mraihi: Presidnet Kais Saied should have activated article 80 of the constitution

The general secretary of the Republican Popular Union Lotfi Mraihi criticized the president of the republic Kais Saied handling of the COVID-19 crises.

Speaking to Shems FM,Mraihi said that the head of the state should have activated Article 80 of the constitution, clarifying that Siaed is constitutionally qualified to confront the epidemiological situation, provided that he has imagination, idea and ability to work and manage.

He further presented many proposals to fight the pandemic, including increasing the number of IC beds and transforming the microbial and internal diseases departments into ICU departments.

He also considered that the official figures that are published in relation to the epidemiological situation are not related to reality.

In the same context,he stressed that a general lockdown is useless today and that those who call for this do not realise the situation.
