Tunisia-Louzir: Hospital patients who have developed severe forms of COVID-19 are not vaccinated

Hechmi Louzir, president of the National Coronavirus Vaccination Commission, confirmed this Monday, January 10, 2022, that all hospitalized patients who have developed severe forms of Covid-19 are unvaccinated or who are not fully vaccinated. He stressed that the pressures on hospitals continue to grow day by day, assuring that health professionals are ready to face this wave.

In a statement to a private radio station, Louzir added that the following meeting of the Scientific Commission, to be held tomorrow, January 11, 2022, will concentrate on the vaccination of children between the ages of 5 and 12. On another aspect, he specified that the scientific commission had suggested the imposition of a curfew and the cancellation of gatherings whatever their nature, as well as the application of measures relating to the vaccination pass and the extension of those applied at the border level.
