Tunisia-low attendance for seasonal flu vaccine

Tunisian Pharmacy Owners Union President Nawfel Amira declared Monday, January 10, 2022, that attendance for the seasonal flu vaccine was lower compared to last year. Amira clarified to the radio, this low attendance by the fact that some think that the Covid vaccines are effective against the seasonal flu.

He added that half of the amount of vaccine provided to pharmacies has yet to be used and is still in stock. The president of the pharmacy owners’ union repeated the significance of this vaccine, particularly since cases of the influenza virus have appeared three weeks ago in Tunisia.
