Tunisia-LTDH calls for revision of Personal Status Code

The Tunisian League for Human Rights (LTDH) yesterday reaffirmed the significance of the Personal Status Code in the protection and promotion of individual rights, underscoring that it plays an integral role in the regulation of family and social relations as well as in the balance between the rights and duties of individuals.

The same source considered that it is essential to evaluate the adaptability of the provisions of this Code in its current version to the aspirations and needs of society, which has undergone a notable cultural change.
