Tunisia- LTDH will participate in the national dialogue

Speaking to a private radio, member of the administrative body of the Tunisian League for Human Rights (LTDH) Ismail Ouali stated that an emergency meeting had been organized to figure out the standing of the LTDH in regard to the initiative of the head of the state Kais Saïed.
Pointing to the tight time that has been fixed for the organization of the dialogue, Ouali announced that the LTDH will partake in the president’s process. He added that the members of the league desire to be part of the legal committee demanding all the material and logistical tools required for them to work within the framework of independence. According to him, the LTDH called for the examination of all political and socio-economic issues with a view to establishing a civil state that secures respect for human rights.
