Machrouu Tounes secretary-general Mohsen Marzouk called for the formation of Technocrat government lead by independent personality.
In a Facebook post, he stressed that any restoration for the track of Fakhfakh government would be foolish and a crime at the same time because it would have the same outcomes. He called for excluding the succeeding government as much as possible from what he described as pollution coming from Parliament and coinciding with it to dedicate itself to serve the country and that none of its members would run for future elections.
He also called to organize a national rescue conference that would raise issues concerning the Constitutional Court, the amendments of the political and electoral systems as well as economic priorities.
Marzouk believes that “this is the only way to ensure government stability and to open up legal and peaceful possibilities capable of bringing about change and liberating the country from the corrupt system of governance”.
