Tunisia-Magistrate Taieb Rached sentenced to 27 months in prison

The former first president of the Court of Cassation, Taieb Rached, was condemned to two years and three months in prison (27 months) by the Grombalia Court of First Instance.

The ruling, pronounced on December 13, was two years in prison for “entering a place belonging to others without the consent of the owner” and three months in jail for “theft with violence”, says his lawyer Taieb Bessadok.
