Speaking to Tunisie Numerique, The Secretary-General of the People’s Movement, Zuhair Al-Maghzaoui, voiced disappointment in Prime Minister Ahmed Hashani’s lacklustre presence in Parliament during the budget discussion. Al-He noted that the prime minister failed to address the importantretary-General of the People’s Movement, Zuhair Al-Maghzaoui, who expressed disappointment in Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Hashani’s lacklustre presence in Parliament during the budget discussion. He stated that the Prime Minister failed to address significant issues or submit a clear vision for his government’s program. He further criticized the Prime Minister’s absence, noting that it echoes poorly on his responsibilities. Further, Maghzoui underscored concerns about Hashani’s participation in the Davos conference despite the President’s opposition to it, emphasizing the necessity for a coherent speech from both the Presidency and the Prime Minister. 

Our interlocutor underlined again that the Prime Minister is completely absent and the Tunisian people do not know his orientations and ideas, viewing this as a main gap and weakness in the government’s work. He remarked that the President of the Republic, in turn, bears responsibility in this regard as he is the one who designated him, and the Tunisian people have the right to know the government’s program and vision clearly.
