Tunisia-Maher Zid is sentenced to six months in prison

The Criminal Chamber of the Tunis Court of Appeal convicted former MP Maher Zid to six months in prison, for damage to others, via social networks and for offences against the President of the Republic.

The case involves a complaint filed against him, since 2018, concerning posts published on social networks in which the former deputy had cited the former President of the Republic, Béji Caïed Essebsi.
