Health Minister Abdellatif El Mekki welcomed a commission of the Qatari Majda Tunisia group, which scores among its companies prominently the Zaitouna Bank and Zaitouna Takaful.
The meeting centred on approaches to strengthen the efforts of the Health Ministry in fighting the Coronavirus, through a donation to the 1818 Fund meriting US$ 10 million, equal to approximately 28.6 million dinars. The opening of a funding line worth 25 million dinars was also published, with the opportunity of raising the amount to 50 million dinars for the benefit of the central pharmacy. The participants in the meeting asserted the readiness of the Zaitouna Bank to finance projects and support initiatives in the health-related industries sector, in order to consolidate the efforts of the State to upgrade this field. The bank’s customers operating in the health-related industries sector will benefit from certain advantages regarding the value of credits granted and repayment terms. |
