Tunisia-Manouba: Recovery of a 30-hectare of state agricultural land

The services of the regional directorate of state domains and land affairs of the governorate of Manouba today retrieved, Thursday, December 16, 2021, agricultural state land with an area of ​​around 30 hectares in the delegation of Jedaida of the governorate of Manouba, which has been illegally exploited by others.

State land was returned after the implementation of an evacuation decision by the governor of the region, in the attendance of regional and local authorities, representatives of the regional administration of State domains in cooperation with the security services of the region.

The land contained a 25-hour space for field crops, an artesian well, and 3,500 olive trees (high-quality Arbozana plants). The reclaimed land management unit in greater Tunis, under LOTD, took charge of the land pending its restoration as soon as possible. It should be mentioned that 2,230 hectares of state land have been returned in the governorate of Manouba since the beginning of the national campaign to recover these lands in 2018 and to date.
