Speaking to the TAP , the governor of the Central Bank of Tunis (BCT) Marouane Abbassi addressed the visit of a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) scheduled for next December.
“The visit that a team from the International Monetary Fund will make to Tunisia, from December 5 to 17, 2023, is a positive signal to renew contact between the two parties,” reported Abbasi.
He added that Tunisia managed to honour the invoices for its purchases and repaid its debts, affirming that it is likewise capable of repaying the due date of 500 million euros scheduled for the end of October 2023.
