Tunisia- May 20, general strike in maritime, air and land transport

The General Transport Federation, under the UGTT, declared its commitment to move on with the sectoral general strike on May 20.

The general strike will involve maritime, air and land transport and was decided as a sign of command to reform transportation companies and pay their agents.

In a press release published on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, the federation criticizes the supervisory authority which “displays lack of seriousness, procrastination, and inability to gain solutions. ”
