Tunisia-Measures to eradicate bedbugs in Kasserine

The first delegate of the governorate of Kasserine, Ahmed Hamdi, reported, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, that following the discovery of bedbugs in a private dormitory for students in Kasserine, the regional authorities, the health services concerned and the general director of university services from the centre moved to the site this morning and took the required preventive measures.

The same source specified, in a statement to the Tap agency, that among the measures taken was the conclusion of a deal with a disinfection company to completely treat and disinfect the hostel after evacuating the students last weekend. Additionally, an agreement was made with the owner of the home to substitute old mattresses and furniture with new ones and destroy them to eliminate these bed bugs.
