Tunisia-Measures to keep the archaeological site of Carthage on the World Heritage List

Tunisia governor, Chedly Bouallègue revealed that demolitions will be implemented around the archaeological site of Carthage.  The Demolitions will aslo include untheorized public buildings. Mr.Bouallegue added that 22 demolitions had already taken place.

In a statement to “Mosaïque FM,” Mr. Bouallègue stated that a meeting would be organized to discuss measures to implement the demolition procedures.

Mr.Buallègue said that the Tunisian state is properly required to show its profound seriousness in dealing with the matter to keep Carthage in the UNESCO list.
