Tunisia-Mechichi: I will form a government of independent competencies

Prime minster designate Hichem Mechcihci declared during a press briefing held this Monday, August 10 at the Kasbah palace, that the current situation of the country requires the formation of a government of independent competences far from the tensions and political disputes to get out of the economic crisis.

Mechichi also presented the broad outlines that will define the policy of the next government: It will, according to him, stop the bleeding of public finances, preserve the achievements of the public sector and public institutions, strengthen the atmosphere of investments as well as limit the deterioration of purchasing power, activate the mechanisms of positive discrimination between regions and guarantee the supremacy of the law.
