Tunisia – Mechichi: “There are” parties “who want to take advantage of the covid crisis”

Prime minister Hichem Mechichi, confirmed this Saturday, at the opening of the meeting of the governors, that the State is bound to protect the health and the life of the citizens. He added that Tunisia is currently encountering, like most nations in the world, the third wave of the pandemic.

Mechichi revealed that the national commission chose to institute the curfew. A measure that has given evidence of its effectiveness in cutting the circle of infections.

But, he added, there is currently a severe crisis of values in the country, and “some parties” are trying to take advantage and ride the wave of the health crisis. In connection to officials who criticized him for having won the decision to institute the latest preventive measures.
