Tunisia-Mechichi:Nighttime altercations: Security intervention was dictated by law, says Mechichi

Hours after the night protest started and the lifting of the PDL sit-in outside the headquarters of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, prime minster Mechichi was asked about it. For him, these are legal matters and instructions from the prosecution.
Acting Interior Minister and prime minster t Hichem Mechichi called the security intervention last night outside the headquarters of the Union of Muslim Scholars “legal”.
The competent authorities solely act within the framework of the law, he affirmed this Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
“The case of the Union of Muslim Scholars is in the hands of justice,” Mechichi stated, emphasising that “their intervention and actions are dictated by law, notwithstanding of which party is facing them.”
