The services of the customs guard unit in Médenine were capable, until the start of November 2023, after several operations involving the Médenine and Ben Guerdane divisions, to thwart attempts to smuggle substantial quantities of narcotic tablets, amounting in total to 642,530 narcotic tablets, of the type “Pregabalin 300 mg” and “Ecstasy”.
The number of “Pregabalin 300 mg” tablets seized attained 633,780, while the number of “Ecstasy” type narcotic tablets reached 8,750.
