Tunisia-Medenine: Investigations initiated after the nightly ransacking of Ennahdha’s offices

Under the direction of the Medenine public prosecutor’s office, juridical cases were initiated today July 26, 2021, against many citizens who assailed a building located on Tataouine road during the celebration of Kais Saied’s decisions yesterday July 25. The latter attacked the building including an office of the Ennahdha movement and they damaged its contents, as well as the contents of numerous law firms in the same building,  acting spokesperson of the court of first instance of Médenine, Nizar Chalbi tole Tunisie Numérique.

According to the same source, reports were opened on the basis of complaints lodged by victims. He confirmed the apprehension of an individual in flagrante delicto during the storming of a building in Houmet Essouk, Djerba, where he ransacked the establishment of the Ennahdha movement, specifying that a number of people are currently wanted for gang formation to violate public and private property.

Meanwhile, the specialized team from the Zarzis National Security post opened an inquiry into the storming of a municipal warehouse and the theft of some of its equipment. It should be remarked that all the files are still under investigation to arrest all the accused
