Tunisia- Medical staff at CHU Farhat Hached protest after coronavirus patient admitted

The first case of coronavirus affecting a Tunisian, aged 40, returning from Italy has been admitted to CHU Farhat Hached’s microbiological health unit after midnght, announced Sousse Regional Health Director Sami Rekik.
The patient health is stable and is expected to be discharged in two weeks, he added.

The medical staff organized a protest in front of the hospital public administration to demand to be supplied with Personal Protective Equipment. They expressed their frustration at the high number of patients admitted for coronavirus.
