Politician Mehdi Ben Gharbia declared that his house was besieged this morning by three police cars. He further pointed out the presence of security agents in the garden in front of his house. Other police officers were also present in front of the entrance to the residence, he added.
Ben Gharbia condemned police intimidation against him. He added that his family and neighbours were similarly victims of these practices.
” By what right? Is there a judiciary to do this? ” he said.
Mr Gharbia announced that he resort to international bodies to prosecute all the parties who carried out this intimidation, assigning the responsibility for these acts to the authorities.
