Tunisia-Mehdi: The goal is to vaccinate 50% of the population

Speaking at today plenary session, Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi declared that the national vaccination campaign against the coronavirus intends to vaccinate 50% of the population.
Mr Mehdi indicated that the ministry’s strategy to secure the vaccination campaign is based on free access and the principle of equity in order to complete the vaccination of citizens in the various regions of the country.
He specified that the distribution of vaccines will be conducted throughout the depots of the central pharmacy (Sousse, Kef, Gafsa, Medenine, and Sfax).
The ministry coordinated with regional authorities to establish  25 vaccination centres in addition to mobile teams to secure vaccination of people in remote areas, he added.
