Tunisia-Mehdia: Seizure of 40 tonnes of potatoes

Inspection teams composed of security, customs and trade ministry officials seized 40 tonnes of potatoes in Mehdia today in a cold store in the attendance of region governor Abdelfattah Chakchouk.

According to the press release published on the official page of the governorate of Mehdia, the amount seized intended for speculation will be reinjected into the official distribution circuits.

According to the same source, the governor supervised the activity of a joint team tasked with conducting out campaigns to fight the smuggling of currency and goods.
