Former Minister of Health, Abdellatif Mekki called on prime minister Hichem Mechichi, to return the vaccines, donated by Emirates to the presidency of the Republic. “Mr Prime minister t, I believe you need to send the vaccines back to their donor. We didn’t need these vaccines and we don’t want to be humiliated in their media,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
The message comes after the Emirati website, Al Ain, talked of “immense popular joy in Tunisia” after the vaccine was forwarded to the presidency of the Republic.
