Approaches to expand military co-operation between Tunisia and the Czech Republic were addressed at a meeting Wednesday between Defence Minister Brahim Bartagi and ambassador of Czech Republic in Tunis Jan Vyčítal.
Mr Bartagie emphasised the necessity to execute the work of the joint military committee which represents the proper framework for identifying areas of cooperation of common interest, including training and sharing of expertise.
He additionally emphasised the requirement to provide new stimulus to bilateral cooperation through the establishment of institutional mechanisms, announced a statement from the Defence Department.
For his part, the Czech diplomat dispatched his country’s willingness to reinforce military cooperation and to identify approaches to develop it in various military fields, within an institutional framework linking the two countries.
