Tunisia- Military units have vaccinated 55,000 citizens so far

The Ministry of National Defense has announced that the total number of recipients of vaccination operations conducted by fixed and mobile military medical teams has attained 55,371 citizens. These operations which begun last July targeted the governorates of Jendouba, Siliana, Kairouan, Kébili and Tataouine.

Age groups over 40, the elderly and people with chronic illnesses, particularly those living in rural and remote areas have profited from this campaign. The ministry indicated that the total number of people vaccinated in these governorates is assigned as follows: 9,315 in Jendouba, 10,292 in Siliana, 12,105 in Kairouan, 10,105 in Kébili and 13,554 in Tataouine.
