The Minister of Women Amel Belhadj Moussa welcomed on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the Director of the International Monodrama Festival of Carthage Ikram Azzouz. The meeting was dedicated to strengthening joint partnership to carry out the monokids competition, standups or monodramas and make it a success.
These activities have been planned for the 4th edition of this international festival which will take place in mid-May. The Minister voiced her support for this initiative aimed at developing theatrical and cultural sensitivity among young people, which is founded on the principled commitment of the festival management and its efforts in the interest of children.
In the same context, she suggested the involvement of children from various regions of the republic to partake in the competition and attend the various activities. It should be remarked that the Carthage International Monodrama Festival will see the presence of stars of theatrical monodrama from several nations, and it includes the competition of monokids, which will be devoted to short theatrical performances performed by children in the form of the “One Man Show or standup or monodrama” with the selection of the winning talents during the ending ceremony.
