Tunisia-Minister of Agriculture calls for guaranteeing supply of drinking water

 
During a meeting devoted to the water situation in the country, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Maritime Fisheries Abdelmonem Belati insisted Monday on the significance of securing the supply of water to all citizens drinking in this period characterised by water stress and drought.
 
According to the Department of Agriculture, the minister called for exploiting all available systems to guarantee water supply in the best conditions. According to the same source, the meeting was a chance to present the current water situation in the country as well as possible solutions to ensure the supply of drinking water.
