Tunisia-Minister of Defense reveals situation at the Tunisian-Libyan borders

After the closed session before the Security and Defense Committee at the House of People’s Representatives, Defense Minister Brahim Bartagi revealed the situation at the Tunisian-Libyan borders.

Bartagi stated the situation at the Tunisian-Libyan borders is progressing thanks to the dialogue between the various Libyan parties. According to the Minister, This will assist in improving the security situation in Libya and hence the security situation at the borders.

For their part, the parliamentary representatives indicated that the Tunisian army needs to “be entirely prepared to protect the borders and act quickly against any try at smuggling and organized crime,” the TAP reported.
