Tunisia – Minister of Defense visits mechanized infantry regiment in Kef

Minister of National Defense, Imad Mamish, conducted a field visit to the Mechanized Infantry Regiment in Kef to evaluate the unit’s preparedness and to observe the living and working conditions of the soldiers stationed there.

During this visit, a detailed presentation was presented on the regiment’s roles and the measures taken to maintain readiness in terms of personnel, supplies, and equipment.

The minister hailed the efforts of all members of the regiment, calling on them to remain vigilant and cautious, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of National Defense.

The minister furthermore shared the Iftar meal with the soldiers serving in the regiment, stressing the concern of the military institution to take greater care of the moral aspect of its members and to strive to improve their living conditions and their social support.
