A meeting chaired by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Moez Chakchouk was arranged yesterday in the attendance of officials from the ministerial cabinet, Tunisair CEO and a delegation from UGTT.
According to a press release published by the ministry, the goal of the meeting was to examine the current situation of Tunisair in the context of the worsening health situation.
The meeting similarly focused on the potential development of programs and action plans to surmount the crisis and confront the challenges in the short and medium-term, by arranging for the resumption of air traffic through repair and rehabilitation of planes.
In the same context, Chakchouk communicated his support for the airline emphasising the significance of collaborative work to preserve the continuity of the institution.
In addition, the minister called on the general management of Tunisair to submit an action plan to be presented to the Ministerial Council as soon as possible.
